JOHN’S PROFESSIONAL MANIFESTO
I am a Business Strategist with intimate knowledge of Marketing and Sales. My goal is to motivate and inspire organizations and business leaders to embrace change and explore risk-driven strategies. To adopt a new mindset that is based on progression and building skills that eventually become organizational capabilities. And to collaborate with clients as we take on new risks together and learn from our failures in order to change.
My focus is helping organizations improve how they market and sell their products or services by creating systems and processes that grow revenue and increase market share. My values are based on having an extreme focus and respect for time – saving it for the client and making the most of it during our work together. I also believe that for any business situation or event in life, you need to start with a plan. Once the plan is in place, I put all my effort and energy into executing for clients.
I started this business and took on a high level of risk to do so. My goal is to help business leaders do the same within their own organizations. I help leaders get outside of their comfort zones, do things that are new and learn how to fail in order to succeed. I can help organizations save time by working through a unique strategic planning process that shortens the marketing to sales cycle and creates an efficient end-to-end marketing-to-sales process.
I started LATERALUS Solutions because I felt stuck, obsolete and that what I was doing was not helping myself or others. I made a decision to change what I did and how I did it in order to change who I was and what I would do in the future. I had two challenging experiences that changed my life, reshaped it and helped me become who I am and who I was meant to be.
My story is about how I embraced change and explored risk, but how I also took a journey into the unknown. As I set out on this journey of self-exploration, self-improvement and change, I discovered that it was not only important that I took this journey for myself, but important that I took this journey to help others make changes in their own lives as well. Having explored my personal and professional challenges and come out on the other side to tell my tale, I’m now in a unique position to help others take their own personal journeys as well.
What I learned on this journey can help anyone in business or anyone looking to make a significant change in their personal or professional lives. The methods I use are proven, battle-tested and have helped others make significant changes in their own lives as well. I want to share my story and provide you with a blueprint that you can use to feel more confident in your decisions and make the changes that improve yourself and your organization.
We’re bombarded with impulsive, get-rich-quick schemes, bogus fish stories and fairytales about unicorns that make playing the long game almost impossible. My approach to business is measured and intentional. I’m playing the long game and thinking about success 10 years from now, not what I can achieve next week.
